Goodies Junction is a not-for-profit charity shop from St Vincent de Paul aiming to recover and sell larger second hand items and use the money for the community.

Challenge

St Vincent de Paul enlisted Giraffe Studio to create a brand, website, and digital marketing campaign for their new initiative, Goodies Junction. The main challenge was building public trust by ensuring the warehouse was not-for-profit, with proceeds reinvested into the community.

Solution

As project manager, I facilitated collaboration between the branding, website, marketing teams and the client. I worked with the Junior Designer to develop the website and coordinated with the Head of Branding to ensure a consistent identity across signage and digital platforms. I then applied this branding to Google and Meta campaigns and developed a content strategy to maintain a unified tone of voice across all touch points.

St Vincent de Paul (Vinnies) aimed to differentiate their brand from Goodies Junction. However, our research into customer needs and the ongoing living crisis revealed that the community required reassurance that proceeds from Goodies would directly benefit local initiatives. We encouraged the client to leverage Vinnies' strong reputation and established brand name to provide the trust and credibility necessary to reinforce their charitable connections and ensure the community's confidence in their mission.

I developed a content strategy for the website and digital marketing campaigns to maintain a unified tone of voice, reinforcing the brand’s mission and values throughout the project.
